ABOUT

Huntlys is an 18th Century thatched farmhouse in a quiet country lane, offering a friendly base in fine downland walking/riding country at the heart of the Pewsey Vale.  It is located near the Ridgeway and within easy distance of Stonehenge, Avebury, Old Sarum and Wiltshire's other ancient monuments.  Salisbury, Marlborough and Bath are all easily accessible, making Huntlys an ideal base from which to explore.

The Vale of Pewsey

Set in the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Vale of Pewsey is an area that stretches from Devizes to the West Berkshire border.

There is plenty to do and see in the Vale, with excellent walking, riding and cycling, including the long-distance route - the Pewsey Vale Circular Way.

Have a look at the video to find out more.

GUEST REVIEWS

We were on a 3-day family cycle ride and this was our first stopover and quite possibly the highlight of our trip! Only our youngest was prepared to brave the chill of the swimming pool (it being only May!) but the setting of the house and garden was stunning and a beautiful place to relax. We had booked dinner in advance (to save extra peddling!) and Margot couldn’t have been more accommodating in finding the perfect home-cooked menu to appeal to our 2 boys. The 3 course meal (by an open log fire!) was absolutely delicious and even I was shocked by the amount we ate.
